For the majority of anglers, their best chance at hooking up comes while fishing out of a poled skiff with an experienced guide. A well-seasoned guide on a poling platforms sees all, properly positions the boat and relays appropriate instructions to the client. All the guides on Little Abaco are superb polers and unbelievably quiet. They are an affable bunch and good teachers with great fish eyes. If you would prefer to wade, let your guide know - there are plenty of wadable flats within a short distance of Little Abaco Bonefish Lodge. Most days, boats launch just down the road from the lodge, but the option to trailer skiffs to other nearby regions of the Abaco’s is also in play. The guides of Little Abaco Bonefish Lodge can chase tides on both sides of the island. This is a big plus for anglers as you can stay ahead of tides and increase your primetime window. An extensive and prolific habitat combined with superb guides and proper equipment give guests your best chance for angling success at Little Abaco Bonefish Lodge.

Fishery

The flats surrounding Little Abaco are varied, including soft bottomed backcountry lagoons, islands wrapped in hard white sand; lush turtle grass gardens, oceanic sand flats and everything in between. Previously difficult to access and demanding either a long boat ride from the east end of Grand Bahama Island or an hour drive from Marsh Harbour, this vast region is on the doorstep of Little Abaco Bonefish Lodge. There are literally miles upon miles of prime bonefish flats - all a short run from Crown Haven. You would need weeks of fishing this location to see all of the available options offered at Little Abaco Bonefish Lodge.
